Charlie Davies UPDATE

Charlie Davies aka Wolverine, has stated that he will begin training with his club Sochaux on Monday.  Absolutely incredible.

Clint Dempsey wonderstrike...

Apologies for the lack this week, started a new job.  Fun.  Anyway, Clint Dempsey is making a miraculous return to form for Fulham.  In their match against Juventus the score was tied on aggregate 4-4 in the second leg of their Europa League tie.  Then in the 82nd minute Dempsey chipped a cheeky ball to the far post that a helpless keeper could only watch.  The goal sent Fulham through to the quarterfinals.  Here is the goal.

Friendly against Australia announced...

According to Steven Goff, the Yanks will play the Kangaroos on June 5 at a location to be determined in Johannesburg.  He also reported that the match will be broadcast live in both countries.  Good news as we get another quality opponent, seven days before the clash with the Queen.
